It is illegal to throw old paint in the trash so the town of Kill Devil Hills is having a paint swap day on October 20 from 9 am to 12 noon. Take your old paint to the Kill Devil Hills Public Works and Recycling Yard off of Colington road. You can dispose of your old cans of paint and pick up cans of paint that still have some life.
