These sites will advertise everything and anything for sale. No one keeps track of what is posted on these sites which results in most of the listings being outdated, already sold and or expired. The experience for shoppers is less than fruitful and most people end up starting over with their search. These sites are used by agents who do not understand how the internet works. Plus most of these sites are FREE.
In reality, what most buyers do is search for terms like "outer banks real estate" or "Corolla real estate" or "Duck real estate" or "Southern Shores real estate" or "kitty Hawk real estate" or "Kill Devil hills real estate" or "Nags Head real estate" or "Colington real estate" or "Manteo real estate" or "Hatteras real estate" or something along these lines depending on what it is they are actually looking for.
