Super cute Avalon cottage built with few steps which is hard to find. The previous owner was the original builder of the home and they had it set up for an in-law apartment in the back with a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bath. Current owners have been renting it consistently on vrbo.com and opened that part of the home to the main part of the house for rentals. They also moved the washer/dryer back into the home as it was located in the outside shed, which still has the water hook up and electric. There is a nice screened in gazebo and fish cleaning station in the back yard. Very close to the sound side access - great spot to live or vacation! Rent numbers coming soon but they have been blocked off the rest of the year in order to sell! 2016 - new HVAC for front 2017 - new HVAC for rear and replaced all plumbing under house with pex pipe with heat tape that is automatically timed according to temperature. Also replaced hot water heater and some fixtures. 2018 - replaced roof on house and shed. 2019 - Painted most of exterior. Also put in new refrigerator and microwave. 2020 - Finished painting exterior with 2 coats of paint, had Gazebo and front porch rescreened. Painted complete interior with up to 4 coats of paint in some rooms, also replaced dryer, all new hardware on all doors an windows. House is on a quarterly pest control program with Manteo Pest Control.
